Over a week ago our partner organization, Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control (LFACC), seized over 100 felines from a home here in Lexington. Your Lexington Humane Society (LHS) stepped in to help evaluate, treat, and care for these kitties. Now, over 100 cats and kittens will be making their way to LHS in the next few weeks and looking for homes!

All will undergo spay/neuter surgery, be microchipped, have dental exams, and be treated for any known medical issues. Some are ready for adoption TODAY, others will go into foster care, and some who need extra TLC will stay with us until they are well. Rest assured, we will do whatever it takes to help these guys get well and find loving homes.

We know our community will respond and come out to ADOPT. If you have been thinking about adopting, now is the time! We have lots of animals currently looking for their forever homes.

Can’t adopt, well maybe you can FOSTER. Fostering is highly rewarding. As a foster parent, you are an invaluable part of LHS’s life-saving team.

And PLEASE DONATE. We have just received word Nancy T. Barron II will generously match ALL donations made to LHS, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000! Now is the time to double your impact. Fill out the form below to make a difference!

With your support, we will not only be able to care for these cats who are in urgent need of our help but also the other 5,000 animals who look to us for help each year. The animals count on us. Can we count on you?
